Message: I was surprised to see this web site. I was an RO during my time. I remember tour time of Bremerton, Wa. , San Diego, Hi and others. Be great to get another tour if the ship arrives in San Diego.

I just found your page, it was a real pleasure to see something about our ship. I served in the Puffer as Supply Officer from 77-80. I was lucky enough to help take her through her overhaul in Bremerton where we upgraded her with the BQQ-5 and MK-117. My time onboard the Puffer where among the best of my life. One of those 2 Supply E's was my department's effort, we also finished second in the Ney award that year.
